Zespol Szkol STO consists of 2 schools: Primary School (year 0-6) and Lower Secondary School (year 1-3).
There are 11 classes with 140 students and 30 teachers.
The Primary School began on September 1st, 1990. It was initiated by a group of parents wishing to improve the educational system. The school is financed by the local council and the students’ parents.
Students start their education at the age of 6 (class 0). There are 11 classes with 140 students and 30 teachers. The classes count between 8 and 18 students in one. They become lower secondary students after class 6.
English is taught since the age of 6 (class 0) for two hours a week. Since they are in class 1 they learn English 4 times a week (4 teaching hours). They start learning German in class 3
2 teaching hours, which reaches 4 teaching hours a week in class 4. Students are divided into groups according to their level.
The school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. A special programme called “Talent”, aimed at creativity development, is being implemented.
